Turn an iPhone file into a widely supported image

Choose the actual .heic or .heif file, select JPG and convert. PixelPort decodes the primary image locally, then creates a real JPEG. Changing a filename from .heic to .jpg would not perform this conversion.

Choose the right output for the next step

For a form or document, start with JPG at 90% quality. If the destination has a byte limit, open File-size target and enter the maximum KB. Only allow smaller dimensions if the destination permits them.

What happens to Live Photos and metadata?

This tool produces one still image. It does not export the video portion of a Live Photo or preserve HDR appearance exactly. Original metadata is not copied to the export. Keep your original HEIC when you need archival data or later editing.
